Noor Thalassemia Foundation

Bank Islami visits Noor Thalassemia Foundation to explore future collaboration in blood donation, zakat support, and awareness for thalassemia treatment.

The team from Bank Islami recently paid a heartfelt visit to the Foundation of Noor Thalasemia, where they received a warm welcome from the Foundation's directors, Mr. Sajjad Cheema and Dr. Bashir. It provided a brief opportunity to witness the significant developments related to the work being done for children living with and suffering from thalassemia.

During the visit, the Bank Islami delegation toured the Foundation's premises, including the laboratory and various departments where children receive treatment. They spent a healthy amount of time meeting and talking to the great staff, doctors, and, most importantly, the courageous little patients who rely on transfusional blood for survival.

It was an emotional and inspiring walk as the delegates learned about the extreme hurdles the little angels are facing and the entire team's hard work at the Foundation. It was an inspiring moment, marked by great discussions on how Bank Islami could lend a hand to the cause.

Among the discussions were Potential collaborations in the following areas:

1. Blood donation camps are organized to meet the constant demand for blood.
2. Zakat contributions that could cover treatment costs.
3. Future awareness campaigns and support for blood camp organization through Bank Islami's CSR program.

The visit ended with hope on both sides for a future partnership to bring actual Change in people's lives and legacies for thalassemia patients.
